Grilling Tip of the Week: Fired-Up Kale Recipe


Kale is one of my favorite veggies. Whether it’s in a salad, in a smoothie, or sautéed as a simple side dish—it’s all good!

But the best way to prepare kale this summer is to throw it on the grill. My husband (aka grill master) Jared shares his simple recipe below.

Grilled Kale
2 bunches of kale, trimmed
olive oil
salt and pepper
red chili flakes

Heat grill to low-medium heat.

Soak kale in water for 5 minutes; wash thoroughly. Trim off thick stems and pat leaves dry. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper, and red chili flakes

Place on grill. Turn constantly until kale becomes crispy but not too burnt, between 5 to 10 minutes.
